As the new owners anxiously count the days till they take their new puppy home, we are counting the days we have left with "our puppies". They are always "our puppies" because even if we don't see them for a few years, they remember us, our voice and touch, and are so happy to see us again.

Carrie took her male puppy "Hubbell", home on Sunday January 8, 2006. He's named after Robert Redford in his movie with Barbra Steisand, called "The Way We Were".
Carrie had a previous Carolee golden for fifteen years and has waited several years for this male.

"Isabella"
Karen, pictured above, decides on which female puppy. Tim, her elder son and Trevor, her younger son, also pictured above, visited when the puppies were just one month old. Below, Karen and daughter, Robyn, going home with their female, who they've called "Isabella", on Friday January 6, 2006.

Karen, her husband Don and family previously owned Carolee's Jesse, CD from whom we had a lovely litter. Then they bought Carolee's Clementine, when Karen flew from Chicago, and home again the same day, so that "Clemmie" didn't have to travel in 'cargo' at 7 weeks. Now they have a new little girl, Isabella" to play with 11 year old "Clemmie". Below, elder daughter, Erin, holding "Isabella".

Marie wanted "Bear", the first male, from her initial sighting of him. Marie's husband Ted, had a Carolee golden for years and they've been waiting some time for this pup. Ted, Maria and daughter Sandy, took "Bear" home on Saturday January 7, 2006.

"Ginger"
Mart and Nancy wanted a companion for their other golden, Carolee's Golden Ivy, who is sister to our "Jewel". They took their female puppy which they've called "Ginger", home on Friday January 6, 2006. The picture below shows such a relaxed Ginger after her first examination, that she fell asleep. What a contented puppy!

Arlene and Brian took their female puppy, which they've called "Kahlua", home at 7 weeks, on January 8, 2006. Below are pictures of "Kahlua" in their back yard with her new 'sister' Tess, a Border Collie. Kahlua also has another companion, Oscar, their parrot.
